Switching from semaglutide to tirzepatide

Tirzepatide costs more than semaglutide almost everywhere we track, and what the switch really costs depends on two things the price tables do not show: whether your current plan lets you leave, and whether the new one charges more as the dose climbs. Both are below, quoted from each provider's own terms.

Whether to switch at all is a question for the clinician who prescribes for you. This page answers what it costs and what your current terms say about leaving.

What tirzepatide costs

Every provider we track that publishes a tirzepatideprice including the medication, cheapest first. Each figure was read from the provider’s own page on the date beside it.

Some links on this page are affiliate links. If you sign up with a provider through one of them, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This never affects how we rank providers — our scores are calculated from published criteria. See our methodology and how we make money.

That is $99.99 to $399 a month for tirzepatide, depending only on who you buy it from. They are not the same plan — some include the consult, some bill several months at a time — so the spread is a place to start comparing rather than a saving anyone is promising you.

Who sells both

23 providers we track publish a price for both, so the molecule can change without the company changing. Whether they will move you is their decision, not ours.

Does the price climb with the dose?

A tirzepatide price quoted at the starting dose is not what the year costs if it rises at every step. These providers say in their own terms that it does.
