The advertised price, and the actual one
Embody's homepage leads with "STARTING AT $79/month" for weekly GLP-1 injections and "STARTING AT $129/month" for the GLP-1/GIP version, under a banner announcing a sale. Neither figure names a dose, a plan or a strength — and neither appears anywhere in Embody's own price table.
That table is not on the pricing page. It is in the terms, and it sets out two programmes.
The Start Program is the promotional one, and its second month is the number to look at: semaglutide injections are — for the first month and — a month from the second. The tirzepatide injection goes — then —. The gum versions run — then —, and — then —.
The Flat Program does the opposite — one rate that does not move: $79 a month for semaglutide injections, or $828 a month if you commit to twelve months up front.
Put those together and the cheapest figure Embody publishes anywhere is $828 a month, on a year's commitment, against a homepage that says "STARTING AT $79/month". On the promotional plan the first month is genuinely cheap and the second is the most expensive semaglutide injection we have recorded from this provider. Neither of those is visible until you open the terms.
What the terms say about money
The terms are where Embody is precise. All payments for the subscription service are final and non-refundable at the time of purchase. Cancelling stops future billing only: it does not refund what you have already paid, and you keep the service through the cycle you bought.
There is one exception. If Embody's provider decides you are not clinically eligible, the unused portion of the current term is refunded, less the cost of services already rendered.
Bundles are one purchase, not several months
Discounts come from committing: three, six or twelve months. The terms describe those bundles in capitals as a single, indivisible purchase, non-refundable in whole or in part. A three-month bundle is not three chances to change your mind, and the saving is what you are paid for giving that up.
To stop the next charge on any plan, a cancellation request must arrive at least 72 hours before the billing date, and before the next medication shipment.
One thing it gets right
Embody's price does not increase when your dose changes within the same medication. Titration is where dose-priced sellers quietly become expensive, so a seller that holds the figure across doses removes a real risk — which is exactly why the missing starting figure matters.
Compounded, and what that means
Embody sells compounded medication prepared by state-licensed 503A pharmacies. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved: the FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness or quality before they are sold, and Embody's own disclosure says so. Its site also notes that the claims and benefits it advertises come from self-reported customer data, which is not the same as a clinical result.
