The short version
This is a publication, not a service. There are no reader accounts. You do not sign up, log in, or give us your name to read anything here. The match quiz asks you a few questions, but it answers them on your device and sends us nothing. We do not collect your health information and we do not want it.
We collect three things: anonymous analytics, but only if you consent; a record of outbound clicks to providers, carrying no identifier that names you; and, if you subscribe to something, the email address you gave us. That is the whole list.
What we do not collect
- No health data. We never ask your weight, BMI, diagnoses or what you have been prescribed. There is no intake form on this site that sends anything about your health to us.
- The match quiz answers stay on your device. The quiz asks six questions — what you can spend a month, whether you want an FDA-approved or a compounded medication, injection or pill, how you would pay, which state you live in, and whether you are with a provider now. Your answers are scored in your browser: they are not sent to us, not sent to any analytics service, and never put in the page address, which analytics would record. They are held in your browser's session storage, which belongs to that one tab and is cleared when you close it. Nothing about them reaches a server, so there is nothing for us to keep, share or be compelled to hand over. Session recording is switched off for the whole of the quiz, and we mask it besides.
- No accounts, passwords or payment details. We do not process payments. Nothing here is for sale to you.
- No selling or renting of personal information, in any form, to anyone, including advertisers.
- No health-interest advertising audiences. We do not build or share audience segments based on what you read here, and we run no retargeting pixels that would let an advertiser infer you were reading about a particular medicine.
Analytics — only with your consent
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful. It loads only after you accept analytics cookies. If you decline, or ignore the banner, no analytics script runs and no analytics identifier is set. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer.
Where analytics is enabled it records page-level information: which pages were viewed and in what order, approximate city-level location derived from IP, device type, and referring site. IP addresses are truncated by Google Analytics before storage.
We run no session recording. Tools that replay your movement through a page — where you paused, what you re-read, what you nearly clicked — can say more about a reader of a health site than the pages they opened. We considered one, restricted it to everything but the match quiz, and then decided against running it at all. If that ever changes, this page and the consent banner will say so before it runs, not after.
Your quiz answers never reach analytics. The quiz reports only that a step was reached and how many — never which answer you gave. That is enforced in the code, not by policy: the function that sends an analytics event accepts numbers and nothing else, so an answer cannot be passed to it.
We have no need to identify individual readers and we do not try to.
Outbound clicks to providers
When you click through to a provider, the link passes through our own redirect at /go/... before
sending you on. We log which provider you went to, which page and which position on the page the link
was in, the referring page, and a hashed session value.
The hash exists so we can tell one visit apart from another without storing anything that identifies you. It is one-way and we do not keep the input. We do not store your IP address against the click, and we do not attach your email address to it even when we have one.
This log is how we learn which content is worth writing, and it is how affiliate commissions get attributed — the provider needs to know a referral came from us. From the moment you arrive on the provider's site, their cookies and their privacy policy apply. That is outside our control and you should read theirs.
Email, if you give us one
If you subscribe to updates we store your email address and use it to send you what you asked for, through a third-party email platform. We do not add subscribers from any other source, we do not sell the list, and every message carries an unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately. We may see whether messages were opened or links clicked, in aggregate, to judge whether they are worth sending.

We use no advertising cookies. If we introduce display advertising, this page and the consent banner will be updated before it runs, not after.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be deleted or corrected, and unsubscribe. Because we hold so little, most requests are answered quickly.
If you are in the EU or UK you have the rights granted by the GDPR, including the right to complain to your national supervisory authority. If you are in California you have the rights granted by the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and to delete; we neither sell nor share personal information as those terms are defined there, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you may still ask.
We honour Global Privacy Control signals as a valid opt-out of analytics.
Children
This site is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Treatment decisions for minors belong with a paediatric clinician, not a comparison site.
Intended audience
This site publishes information for residents of the United States about US providers, prices and insurance coverage. It is not directed to any other market. We do not vary what we serve based on where a visitor is, so every reader receives identical pages.
Changes
If we change what we collect we will change this page and move the date at the top. Material changes to data collection will be reflected in the consent banner, because a policy update is not consent.
