Everything on this site is general information about the cost, availability and insurance coverage of GLP-1 medicines in the United States. None of it is medical advice, a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or a substitute for care from a licensed clinician who knows your history.

Reading this site does not create a doctor–patient relationship, a pharmacist–patient relationship, or any other professional relationship between you and us. We are a publisher. We do not practise medicine, we do not dispense medicine, we do not review your medical records, and we cannot tell you whether any medicine is appropriate for you.

Decisions about starting, changing, combining or stopping a prescription medicine belong to you and a clinician who is licensed to make them. GLP-1 receptor agonists are prescription-only for a reason: they interact with other drugs, they are contraindicated in several conditions including a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma and MEN2, and they carry documented risks including pancreatitis, gallbladder disease, gastroparesis and, in the surgical setting, pulmonary aspiration under anaesthesia. That is not an exhaustive list and it is not tailored to you.

Medical review status

We are honest about this rather than quiet about it: this site does not currently have a named medical reviewer. We are recruiting a licensed US clinician (MD, DO, PharmD or NP with a verifiable NPI) to review clinical content.

Until that person is in place, we enforce the constraint in software rather than by good intentions:

• Any page that makes a clinical claim cannot be published without either a recorded medical review or an explicitly attributed waiver naming the person who accepted responsibility. This is a database constraint, not an editorial guideline — the write is rejected.
• The pages we publish today deliberately stay on the other side of that line. They carry prices, what a price includes, which states a provider serves, and which pharmacy fills the prescription — commercial and operational facts we verified ourselves against the provider's own site. They do not tell you what to take.

Compounded medicines

Some providers listed on this site supply compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide. You should understand what that means before you buy any.

Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved. The FDA does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness or manufacturing quality before they are sold. A compounded version of a drug is not a generic of it, is not therapeutically equivalent to it, and has not been shown to be interchangeable with it. The shortage pathway that permitted large-scale compounding of semaglutide and tirzepatide ended in 2025, and in April 2026 the FDA proposed permanently excluding these molecules from the list of substances that outsourcing facilities may compound in bulk.

Where we mention a compounded product, we say so and we say this. We do not describe any compounded product as being "the same as" or "a generic version of" an approved brand, because it is not.

Accuracy and limits

Prices, coverage rules and eligibility criteria in this market change frequently and without notice. We record the date and the source URL for every figure we publish, and we will not index a page whose central claim is more than 90 days old. That is a real discipline, and it is still not a guarantee: a price can change the day after we check it.

Insurance coverage in particular depends on your specific plan, your plan year, your employer's carve-outs and your prior-authorisation history. Nothing here can tell you what your plan will pay. Confirm with your insurer and your pharmacy before you rely on any number.

Individual results from any treatment vary. We do not publish testimonials, before-and-after imagery, or any claim about how much weight you personally might lose.
