What to watch out for

Found publishes three different membership prices across its own site: "starting at $99/mo" on the pricing page, "$17/month" on the insurance page, and "$49/mo" on its compounded-semaglutide page. We could not reconcile them from Found's own text, so we have recorded no price. Found also partners exclusively with 503A pharmacies — the more exposed lane now that the shortages are resolved.

Who pays for the medication

Can insurance pay for it?

Yes. Found prescribes to your pharmacy or handles prior authorization, so a plan that covers the drug can pay for it.

Compounded medications are included in the cost of both insurance and cash-pay plans Branded GLP-1 medication may also be available but their cost is billed separately and isn't included in the prices listed above

Not available to individuals with government insurance plans (e.g. Medicare, Medicaid, TriCare, MediCal, or similar)

We could not establish what this costs

Found publishes at least four different "starting at" membership prices across its own site, and we could not reconcile them from Found's own text. That is why this page carries no price.

  • The insurance page: "Weight loss memberships starting at $17/month*".
  • The pricing page, for the same thing: "$99/mo with insurance* $169/mo with cash pay*".
  • The pricing page footnote: "Monthly plans start at $199/mo for insurance and $289/mo for cash-pay."
  • The homepage, where "$99" appears with no insurance qualifier at all, and a separate "$49/month" is attached to non-GLP-1 plans — while a comparison table elsewhere attaches "From $49/mo" to something different again.

Both "$17" and "$99" are footnoted "with insurance", so they describe the same product at nearly six times the difference, and neither page reconciles them.

The headline figures also assume you prepay a year: "Pricing based on 12-month plans paid up-front."

Billing is every 28 days, not monthly

Found's offer terms state each plan is "Billed every 4 weeks (28-day cycle)". That is thirteen charges a year, not twelve — so a "monthly" plan costs roughly one extra month per year against the number you budgeted.

The refund window is very short

"You are eligible for a full refund of your membership fee if either of the following applies: You cancel within three (3) days of your original purchase date, or You cancel before completing your first medical consultation." Whichever comes first closes it.

Being turned down for the drug you wanted does not earn a refund if you qualify for something else: "if you are disqualified from receiving a specific medication (e.g., preferred GLP-1) but are still eligible for other treatment options offered through Found, this does not qualify for a refund."

Renewals are non-refundable unless you cancel at least 48 hours ahead. And Found warns that "Initiating a chargeback may impact your eligibility to continue receiving services". Cancelling cuts off care immediately: "Your access to Providers and prescription medication will be suspended as of the date of cancellation."

Labs are excluded from every plan.

A Medicare offer its own terms exclude

The homepage advertises the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge — brand-name GLP-1s "for as little as $50/month" for eligible Part D members, with "We handle insurance paperwork". Found's offer terms state, for all three plans: "Not available to individuals with government insurance plans (e.g. Medicare, Medicaid, TriCare, MediCal, or similar)." The site does not explain how a Part D member buys a plan whose terms exclude government insurance.

Found does disclose, to its credit, that this copay "does not count toward your Part D deductible or out-of-pocket maximum", and that it "is not affiliated with or endorsed by CMS."

Where the compounded disclosure is missing

Found uses three different FDA wordings. The clearest sits on the compounded product pages: "Compounded GLP-1s are not FDA-approved or evaluated for safety or efficacy, and not available in all states."

The homepage and the pricing page carry a different sentence entirely — about certain GLP-1s being approved for other conditions — which does not mention compounding at all. Yet the homepage FAQ sells "compounded GLP-1s starting at $99/month" and the pricing page lists compounded tirzepatide and semaglutide as products. On the two pages most buyers actually read, the compounded product is offered without the compounded disclosure.

Found does state that it partners exclusively with 503A pharmacies and that compounded semaglutide is third-party tested before shipping.

One concrete state fact

Found publishes no list of excluded states, but its own insurance selector returns "No plans available for this state" for California.
