The FDA wrote to MEDVi, LLC in February 2026 over what it called false or misleading claims about compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, including product labels carrying the MEDVi name although MEDVi does not compound the drugs; the letter is summarised in the safety checks below. MEDVi also publishes no price before intake — the homepage advertises "CLEAR PRICING" and then asks you to start an assessment — and refunds it later, narrowly.

No price before the assessment
MEDVi's page carries the words "CLEAR PRICING" and a button that starts an assessment. It does not carry a number. Prescriptions are issued only after an online consultation with an independent licensed provider, and the cost of the programme appears somewhere after that.
That is a legitimate way to run a clinical service, and it is also the single most important thing to know before starting: you cannot compare MEDVi with anyone else on this site until you are already inside its intake. Medication is included in the programme cost, so whatever the figure is, it is not a membership fee with drugs billed on top.
The refund ladder
MEDVi's terms are unusually detailed about money, and each rung matters.
Cancel within the first 72 hours of your subscription term, having received no services, and you get a full refund. If the provider disqualifies you for a medical reason, you get a full refund. If you are billed monthly and cancel later, no refund is issued for the cancellation month or any month before it. If you are billed two or more months at a time, a refund covers only the months in which no medication shipped. Medical consultation fees are never refundable, and prescription products cannot be returned for reuse or resale.
Cancelling takes 72 hours' notice
A cancellation request must reach MEDVi at least 72 hours before the next billing date. Miss that window and the next cycle is charged. You can cancel at any time by contacting customer service or through the patient portal, and after cancelling you keep the service to the end of the cycle you have paid for.
The asterisk on "free"
The site advertises medication as free to end users, with an asterisk: "subject to insurance and copays eligibility to be determined at time of visit". That is a conditional claim resting on your insurance, and eligibility is assessed at the visit rather than beforehand. Read it as a possibility, not a price.
What it dispenses
MEDVi names Wegovy, which is FDA-approved for weight loss, and also discusses compounded medication with prospective users. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved: the FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness or quality before they are sold. It says it partners with multiple certified US pharmacies. As with Embody, the site notes that the claims and benefits it advertises rest on self-reported customer data.
The FDA warning letter
On 20 February 2026 the FDA wrote to MEDVi, LLC, alleging that its website made false or misleading claims about compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide. Two specifics stand out: product labels carrying the MEDVi name although MEDVi is not the compounder, and claims the agency said implied an approval that compounded drugs do not have.
A warning letter is the agency stating its case, not a court deciding it, and a company may have changed what it publishes since. It is on this page because a reader deciding where to buy medication deserves to know an agency has written to the seller about how it describes that medication.

The rating covers MEDVi’s whole service rather than GLP-1 treatment alone, and it says nothing about clinical results. Recent reviews about the treatment you are considering tell you more than the average.
